Luxury 2011 Audi A3/Q7

Audi has revised the A3 for the 2011 model year. The car, which was facelifted in 2008, will see changes to all the variants.

New features on the car include glossy black B-pillars and grille, chrome air intakes, door handles, and side mirrors and a redesigned rear diffuser. Tail-light lenses are tinted on 3dr models.

New exterior colours, like Amethyst Grey, Dakota Grey, Scuba Blue, and Volcano Red will feature. Customers may also choose from two new 17” alloy wheels, and a new 18” alloy wheel design. Inside, the driver will find a redesigned leather wheel and gear lever, black gloss trim elements, aluminium trim inserts, and grey back grounded instruments.

Engines will stay the same. Audi has not yet disclosed when they will take orders on the 2011 Audi A3 and S3.
Audi has announced several mechanical changes for the Q7. For the 2011 model year, the 276bhp 3.6 litre V6 and 345bhp 4.2 litre V8 engines have been replaced by two versions of Audi’s supercharged V6 unit which debuted in the S4.

The lower powered version offers less power than before, at 268bhp, but 40Nm more torque. This powers the Q7 from 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds – 0.6-seconds faster than before – and gives it a top speed of 140mph. The more powerful version that takes over from the 4.2 litre engine, delivering 328bhp and 440Nm of torque. This allows the Q7 to reach 62mph from rest 0.5 seconds more quickly than the V8 at 6.9 seconds, and to continue to a top speed of 152mph.

Both versions return the same fuel economy figure of 26.4mpg (10.7 l/100km) and 249g/km of CO2, representing a mpg improvement of 12% over the old V6 and 16% over the V8, and a 40g/km and 55g/km step up respectively.

Also available is an all-new 237bhp 3.0 litre V6 TDI engine which features start-stop technology. The unit returns 38.2mpg (7.4 l/100km) making it 19% more fuel efficient than the previous unit. The engine also powers the Q7 from 0-62mph in 7.9 seconds – 0.6-seconds faster than before.

All models benefit from the new 8 speed automatic gearbox which debuted in the new A8. Prices range from £40,135 to £54,055 and the newcomer is available to order now

Top Luxury Kahn Audi Q7 Edition 2011

This is the first time Kahn Tune projects into Audi Q7. Taking inspiration from another in-house project and in particular the Range Rover Sport RS600, the self-proclaimed “king of aesthetic conversions” created a complete body kit for the German SUV, alongside a few interior appointments.

The exterior design of Kahn Audi Q7 are wide Arched Body Kit features extra-wide wheel arch extensions, front vented wings, redesigned bumpers and a discrete, roof-mounted wing, all painted in Pearl Soft White. A set of 22-inch Kahn RS-X alloywheels complete the exterior updates.
While the interior using black quilted leather with red stitching. Other interior goodies include aluminum sport pedals, a Panoramic Glass Roof and a custom speedometer and rev counter.

The design of the new Audi A6 his athleticism and grace. Sedan is 4.92 meters (4:14 p.m. m) long and 1.87 meters (6.14 meters) wide, but only 1.46 m (4.79 ft) high – the sporty proportions unparalleled by the competition. Hybrid Audi A6 will be available from Audi in the future. Serve up to 180 kW (245 hp) of the system performance, the 2.0 TFSI plus an electric motor to achieve efficient and sporty acceleration with average fuel consumption of just 6.2 liters per 100 km (37.94 U.S. mpg) (provisional figures). As with previous models, the new Audi A6 is available with a variety of powertrains. Choice, based on the engine version, will a six-speed gearbox, multitronic continuously variable, and a new sporty S tronic Each unit is precisely tuned and equipped with transmission capacity wide, making an important contribution to the efficiency of the sedan. Shipment of the new Audi A6 will be in early 2011. The basic price in Germany is € 38.500.

New Mazda Shinari 2011

Japan Shinari word describes the appearance of a strong yet supple excessive force when the object of a high tensile strength, like steel or bamboo, which is twisted or bent. It also refers to the appearance of a person or animal as it flexibly transforms its body to generate a fast movement. Within this movement, Mazda designers discovered the potential to realize ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’. Aerodynamic performance was a major priority for Mazda Shinari Concept, and the centre of the lower sections – on both the front and rear bumpers – are designed to optimize the flow of air along the underbody of the car. The flared line that connects the front bumper with the side sills and rear bumper, fulfils a similar role and streamlines the flow of air along the body, while further contributing to the aerodynamic performance of the car. For the body colour a luminous metallic blue has been chosen to convey an image of hard metal.

The principle of ergonomics is also reflected in rising dedicated next-generation automotive Human Machine Interface (HMI). The availability of smaller electronic components has allowed Mazda Shinari Concept’s designers to create a floating HMI three-dimensional display; a design element that represents the very latest HMI technology . The system offers three distinct modes: ‘Business, Pleasure and Sport’. The Business-mode enables the driver to stay connected to his work day tasks. In Pleasure-mode, focus is on comfort and entertainment, allowing the driver to tailor the interior mood creating a relaxed atmosphere. In Sport-mode the driving set-up is changed; the paddle shifter is activated, suspension settings are tuned for performance driving, and controls are simplified allowing the driver to focus solely on the driving experience.

The surface of the main dashboard is a low position, and away from the occupants, creating a unique sense of openness. The HMI interface and the dedicated seating controls for the front seat passenger represent a new level of detail and functionality for a Mazda premium interior. Even though the interior volumes have been rearranged in this way there is a high level of sportiness to enhance the feeling of driving dynamics.
